Settings
BroadLoop offers an option to enable dispatch draft for clients. This setting can be updated in the Admin > Settings screen. An Active/Published Dispatch will allow internal drivers and subhaulers to view dispatch information. Users, may at times, prefer a dispatch to be created in a 'Draft' status. This will prevent internal drivers and/or subhaulers from the dispatch information until the draft dispatched is tagged as 'Published'.
From the Admin > Settings > Dispatch screen, Admin users will need to enable Draft Status = Yes. To prevent any potential human error, admin users can also Enable Draft Notification Emails. This will send an email notification to the provided contact to easily identify if any dispatches are in Draft Status.
Dispatch
When the Draft Status is enabled, users are able to update the status of the draft from Draft to Published. Users are also able to make a published dispatch set to draft status as long as drivers or subhaulers have NOT been notified via Bulk Actions in Dispatch. The status of the Draft is noted in a few areas:
1.) Dispatch Header will display 'Draft' or 'Active'
a.) Draft - only internal admin users have access to view dispatch
b.) Active - all assigned drivers and subhaulers will have access to view dispatch
2.) Daily Dispatch Summary
a.) Draft Dispatches will be displayed in Orange
b.) Active Dispatches will be displayed in Blue
