Customer Access to e-Tickets

Overview

As you move away from paper tickets, customers (especially State DOT's) may still want to see the load tickets for specific jobs. BroadLoop allows you to create unlimited user accounts for your customers and provide them with limited access to one or more jobs. 


What can they access?

  • The e-Ticket Daily Summary Report filtered to only display tickets for the job(s) they have access to


The following steps will help you provide limited access to your customer's load tickets. 

Confirm Security Settings

Head on over to Settings > Security to confirm that the Customer role is limited as you would expect. By default, they should have no access for the Core, Dispatch or Fleet categoriesThe Customer role should look similar to the options below. 

Create a User 

Now go to the Manage Users screen to create a New User. Enter the customer's email address and other information. Be sure to choose Customer from the Role drop down list. 

Assign the Job(s)

Lastly, go to the Manage Jobs screen to edit the job(s) that you want this customer to see tickets for. Just find the new user(s) you created in the Users drop down list and select as many as you'd like to grant access to.
